Golden Euro is an old-school online casino in both good and bad ways. There are rough edges. Golden Euro advertises a decent range of conventional payment methods, but the options actually available in the cashier can be considerably narrower. The live cashier can show a much smaller selection. Card deposits and eZeeWallet were available when we checked, with Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover supported through the card option. This discrepancy is worth knowing about before joining specifically for one of the payment methods advertised on Golden Euro's website.

Golden Euro Withdrawal Methods

Golden Euro publicly lists wire transfer, eZeeWallet, Skrill and Neteller for withdrawals. Skrill and Neteller withdrawals require a previous deposit from the same wallet, while the casino's terms say withdrawals are normally returned through the original deposit processor where possible.

Again, actual availability can be narrower. The cashier we checked offered eZeeWallet and wire transfer as withdrawal methods. Both had a €2,500 maximum transaction, but their minimums and fees were very different:

• Wire transfer: €100 minimum withdrawal, €2,500 maximum, €30 fee

Wire transfers are therefore an expensive choice for smaller withdrawals. Golden Euro says they can take up to 10 working days, and receiving or intermediary banks may impose additional charges.

Verification Before Withdrawing

Golden Euro requires identity verification for a first withdrawal. Its terms specify at least photographic ID and a utility bill dated within the previous two months, with the documents submitted by email. Deposited funds must also be wagered at least once before they can be withdrawn.

How Fast Are Golden Euro Withdrawals?

Golden Euro says players should normally receive withdrawals within 24-72 hours, although the payment method makes a significant difference. eZeeWallet withdrawals become available once Golden Euro has processed the payout, while wire transfers can take up to 10 working days.

The 24-72 hour figure should be treated as Golden Euro's stated payout target rather than a guaranteed delivery time. Verification, casino processing and the payment provider can all affect how long a withdrawal ultimately takes.

One feature we dislike is Golden Euro's encouragement to reverse pending withdrawals and return the money to the casino balance. Reversible withdrawals are not unusual at older online casinos, but players who have requested a cashout should not feel encouraged to cancel it simply to continue playing.

Monday Rebate Bonus

Regular depositors can also qualify for a free bonus every Monday based on how much they deposited during the previous Monday-to-Sunday period:

Comp Points

Golden Euro also has a straightforward comp-point system rather than a conventional VIP ladder. You earn one comp point for every €10 wagered with qualifying funds, and 100 points can be exchanged for €1 in casino credit. That works out at €1 of standard comp credit for every €1,000 wagered.

Selected Game of the Month titles can award double comp points, while occasional promotions increase the rate to triple points. It is a simple loyalty system with no status tiers or promised VIP privileges, but together with the cashback and Monday rebates it gives regular players considerably more ongoing value than the old-fashioned Golden Euro website initially suggests.
